Maurice Pauze graduated from Blue sky School of massage in 1997 with a certification in neuromuscular massage therapy.
He has been working as a massage therapist since 1997."relaxing the muscles is great, but if you go back to your same ole habits the muscles get tight again"
Maurice discovered the answer to this dilemma with pilates in 2007 while working at a health club.
"I started having shoulder issues and quit working out completely, and a knee issue was preventing me from running. The fitness director at the health club suggested pilates and Ive been hooked ever since."
"From an early age I was into martial arts and meditation. For me pilates is like the missing link connecting mind and body. I am able to workout injury free
My clients and I are amazed at how using the core properly can take the stress out of the joints. The muscles in the body work with each other in harmony. Adding the breathwork, clears and calms the mind as well, a sort of moving meditation."
After three years of intensive training, Maurice eventually became certified through balanced body pilates at palm desert pilates in Palm Desert May of 2011.
Maurice moved to arizona in 2001 from Fond Du Lac, WI.
When not in the studio or massage room, Maurice enjoys camping and hiking." I love this state, there is always a place to hike no matter what season it is. I am always on the search for the best camping spots and have found many."
